...Pregnant at 33
(Stupid photo won't turn. Grrr!)
October 6, 2011
I'm not one to deny how old I am. At 33, I am having my 3rd baby.
It has been four years since my last delivery. And seriously, I cannot remember how it's like to be pregnant anymore. I do not get sick as much as I did when I had my first 2 babies. But it might be too early to tell.
According to duedatecalculator.com, I will be having my baby on May 24, 2012. That's exactly a week after my 34th birthday! I really think I am too old for this!
I am now 7 weeks along the way and I have just been from my 1st check-up with my OB. Since, I plan to change doctors, I will not mention her name in this blog. But she told me that my baby has a faint heartbeat. Maybe because she is still tiny, or maybe because of the stress or maybe I dunno!
Nonetheless, I am now stressing that I may have stressed my baby out!
Motherhood!
...STEVE JOBS
October 6, 2011
I woke up to bad news today. Actually, I was up a little earlier than 5am and after sending my daughter off to school, I went back to sleep. So I was re-awaken to news about the passing of Apple's visionary and creative genius -- Steve Jobs.
I do not claim to own a million Apple gadgets but I met the products borne of Mr. Jobs' brains in 2000, when I had a short stint in an ad agency. The office walls were purple and pink -- reminiscent of, I think, already defunct gurlmail.com -- which was my email a looong time ago. To complement the 'gurly' walls, the office only used the candy-colored Macs.
After that and several Mac upgrades, I was skeptical about using Mac and Apple products because I felt that they may not be idiot-friendly enough.
Fast forward to 2011, I finally purchased my very own Steve Jobs' creation as a birthday present to myself and I have been in love with my iPhone4 since. Even my children are happy with the tiny thingie -- idiot-friendliest! (Plus, my kids know the go-abouts of the iPod and iPad, too!)
Rest in peace, Mr. Jobs. You have indeed made a huge change in the world. Thank you so much!
iMourn. =(
