I am happy because I have recently purchased this MSI Wind Netbook, primarily for blogging purposes. I’ve wanted to return to writing and now finally, my wish has come true. I now have a laptop and I can start tapping on my creative juices again.
So the first thing I wanna write about is being thankful.
I am thankful for my family. For my two little kids, who give me absolute joy even in my lowest of lows. They really know how to make me laugh – be it intentional or unintentional. The way Draco comes to me when he has a mosquito bite and asks me to put “caldarel’. Or when they both run to me when I’m on my way out the house to kiss and hug me – always makes me feel important. Like they would miss me so even if I’d just be in the office and that I’d just be a phone call away and that we do this everyday. I love that we do the kiss and hug routine everyday because this way, I am sure they love me.
I am thankful for my crappy job because people are losing their crappy jobs. I am thankful for still having the time to bond with my cousins because it means I have family. I am thankful that even though my marriage is full of problems, Papoy and I still try to work things out because we both don’t wanna be trampled by adversities. We both know we’re better than that.
I am thankful that Nyx is still in the honor roll as she was during the previous grading period. I am guilty that most of the time I neglect checking her homework and that sometimes when she asks questions, I get a little irritated especially when I’m tired. But still, she’s in the honor roll. I am very proud.
